PlayStation 4 pre-orders placed inside the UK after August 5 is probably not fulfilled at launch, a brand new report has suggested.UK retail sources have told CVG that pre-orders need to be placed “before next week” to assure a console at launch.

Pre-orders placed after the deadline are apparently unlikely to be fulfilled on day one, although Sony is planning to deliver additional units for general sale when the console is released.It is thought the limitations shall be imposed around the UK and Europe, while North American and Japanese stock allocations remain unknown.
Sony has to date declined to comment.
Analysts are predicting Xbox One and PS4 stock shortages leading as much as Christmas , while quite a few retailers have halted pre-orders in recent weeks.
Sony recently confirmed plans to cope with its PS4 games line-up during next month’s gamescom event in Cologne.Sony’s conference shall begin at 6pm UK time (7pm Central European Time) on Tuesday, August 20.
The PS4 will be available this holiday season for $399 (£349), alongside Killzone: Shadow Fall, Drive Club and Knack.
